A special ‘CoolMax’ breathable mesh Infant Insert has been developed to match the Performance Carriers – perfect for summer! 

The new ‘CoolMax’ Infant Insert can be used with any ERGObaby Carrier, not just the Performance.

Made of lightweight high performance fabric, the ERGObaby® Performance Infant Insert is the perfect companion to the ERGObaby collection of carriers.

Ideal for outdoor activities in all climates, babies and parents are cooler and more comfortable with this unique insert. Used for infants up to 6 months, this design easily enables parents to ensure that their newborn is positioned correctly on the pillow, keeping pressure off the developing sacrum, and supports the development of the spine and hips.

It snaps closed around the infant, holding the baby in a cozy, protected environment close to the heart, as well as in an ergonomically correct natural sitting position.

Option for baby's beyond 12 weeks with very strong head control

The ERGObaby Heart2Heart infant insert is a fabulous accessory that grows with your newborn. 

In our experience, some babies gain excellent head control from 12 weeks but even if they do so, they still need additional support.  If this is the case,  you can remove the pillow from the insert and use that alone to sit on inside the ERGObaby Carrier.  This props them at an appropriate height without confining them in the insert.
