You may not have so much of a choice on what to actually give birth in - you might prefer to be completely naked or be given a hospital gown to put on. My wrap was a bit of luxury for my hospital bag. I loved birthing in it and was happy to see the 'after' photos too - I looked better than I felt! It made skin to skin so easy too! I love my wrap I really hope I can use it again next year!

I almost lived in this the first few weeks after birth. It should be added to list of essential items to have! I loved the skin-to-skin contact with my newborn and enjoyed special moments in the middle of the night with my daughter sleeping on my chest. We're also eco-minded parents, so the added bonus of organic cotton made it the best purchase I made last time.

I didnt wear this to give birth (who wears much anyways when they are right in the final stages lol) I lived in this pretty much every day for the first week after baby was born. Literally washed it put it in the dryer and put it back on while it was still warm. Perfect for getting the hang of breastfeeding the softest fabric ever. Great for skin to skin time with baby and I found that it looked and felt nicer than wearing pjs when people came to visit. Every brand new mum deserves to feel as lovely as this made me feel.

I bought this with the intention of giving birth in it, however the birth happened so fast that I never got in it till about 3 days after bub was born. It was really nice to have something nice to wear afterwards with easy access for breastfeeding. Definitely glad I purchased this even if it wasn't used for the intended purpose :)

Love love loved giving birth in this wrap and wearing it for some of the early baby days. SO much nicer than a hospital gown! Really easy to breastfeed in. Lovely soft fabric. A great pre-baby purchase and would make a fantastic gift for a mumma to be!
