The Medela Breastshells allow unique wearing comfort. The discreet shape and the flexible silicone membrane, which is gentle on the skin, mean that they are pleasant and invisible to wear.
The ventilation holes in the top of the shells allow air to circulate, thus preventing humidity and promoting healing. The Breastshell protects sore nipples from further chafing (incorrect positioning of the baby’s mouth around the breast could be a reason for the soreness).
Milk leakage is simultaneously collected. The shells can be worn continuously between breastfeeding sessions. If soreness becomes severe or persists, consult a physician or lactation consultant.
